Getting ready.

We are all packed and ready to go.

We are normally very excited to travel, but, preparing for this trip was bittersweet. We were able to take care of last minute chores that needed to be done. Vivian's friends at school gave her presents for her trip. She will be entertained well on the plane.

The last few days were not all work, work, work. Yesterday Mike got to surf for a few hours. We went to dinner with Anthony and Kirby (a.k.a. Turby). Today Mike and Vivian were able to get some swimming in thanks to Andy and Caity (and Joan and Roger). We did a quick visit to my parents and Vivian was able to get one last playdate with Louie before the trip. Mike ended the day going to see our friends Rich and Warren playing at Gritty's. He caught up with many of our friends while he was out.

Now we are trying to wind down so we can wake up in a few hours to go. More from Indy. Happy 4th!
